1. Scope
These Terms govern participation in BitcoinRun and use of related teams, proof, recognition, websites, assistant, shop, products and services operated by Action Marketing Plus FZ-LLC. Edition-specific Rules form part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes a mandatory consumer or data-protection right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Edition 01
The Edition 01 qualifying activity window is 31 October 2026 through 3 January 2027. The challenge is one qualifying activity of at least 5 km, run, jogged or walked, anywhere, subject to the published Edition 01 Rules. Participation is free. No Bitcoin required. No purchase required.
3. Registration and eligibility
You must provide accurate information and control the email address used to register. If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms or make a purchase in your jurisdiction, participate or purchase only with the parent/guardian involvement required by applicable law. BitcoinRun may reasonably restrict or suspend an account/access where necessary to protect security, prevent abuse or enforce the Rules.
4. Proof and Founding Finisher recognition
Founding Finisher recognition is earned only after a qualifying activity is completed, submitted and accepted. BitcoinRun may reject proof that is incomplete, outside the edition window, implausible, duplicated, manipulated or otherwise insufficient. Automated tools may assist review, but a participant may ask for human review. A Founding Finisher number records an achievement; it is not a race ranking, financial asset, token or investment.
5. Invitations and teams
Invitation is part of the movement but is not a condition of the individual achievement unless future edition rules expressly say otherwise. Founding Teams may be used for shared participation and aggregate reporting. Team organisers do not receive participant proof files or contact details through the organiser dashboard.
6. Products are separate from achievement
BitcoinRun may sell apparel, the Edition 01 medal, pendant and other products independently of challenge completion. Products may be offered at or after registration. Buying, receiving or wearing a product does not create Founding Finisher status, improve proof review, change a Founding Finisher number or represent a completed activity. The intention may be to encourage purchasers to move, but achievement still has to be earned separately.
Founding Finisher numbers belong only to accepted achievements. Medal/pendant serials are separate production/collector identifiers and do not represent finishing order, race position or sporting rank.
7. Product descriptions, renders and pre-orders
Product pages must identify concept renders or pre-production visuals as such. Dimensions, materials, finish, colour and packaging may change before manufacture where disclosed. A product is not presented as a manufactured/approved physical sample until that is true. Where an item is a pre-order or made-to-order item, the product/checkout flow will identify that status and the expected dispatch window before purchase.
8. Prices, VAT, shipping and duties
Prices shown through the shop are the prices offered at that time and may change before a future purchase. The checkout will show the applicable product price and available shipping charges before the order is completed. VAT and other taxes are handled as required by the applicable transaction. International buyers may be responsible for import duties, customs charges or local taxes unless the checkout expressly states that they are prepaid.
9. Orders and payment
The BitcoinRun shop may use Shopify and payment service providers. An order is accepted when the applicable checkout confirms acceptance/payment, subject to inventory/pre-order availability, fraud/security checks and any right to cancel a clearly erroneous listing. If BitcoinRun cannot supply a paid item, the customer will be offered an appropriate replacement where agreed or a refund for the unavailable item.
10. Delivery
Dispatch and delivery estimates are estimates unless the checkout expressly states otherwise. Delays can occur due to production, customs, courier or destination issues. BitcoinRun will provide available tracking where the selected delivery method supports it and will reasonably assist with a missing or materially delayed shipment.
11. Returns, cancellations and defects
See the Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Mandatory consumer rights always apply. As a voluntary baseline, unused non-custom goods may be returned if the customer contacts BitcoinRun within 14 days after delivery and follows the return instructions. Change-of-mind returns for personalised, individually numbered, custom-made or made-to-order items may be restricted once production begins, except where mandatory law applies. Defective, damaged, materially misdescribed or non-conforming goods will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer rights.
12. Corporate Movement Packs
Companies may purchase Movement Pack activation services, optional visibility kits and merchandise under a quotation/order. A Movement Pack may include a dedicated company joining route, an optional Company Hub, aggregate progress, company recognition, participant-certificate access for company-route Founding Finishers, approved assets and support. Companies may let people move independently, organise a company activity, or mix both. Paying for a Movement Pack never buys or improves an individual Founding Finisher achievement; BitcoinRun grants that recognition only through an accepted completion route. Bespoke production, shipping, permits, venues and on-site services may be subject to additional written terms in the accepted quotation.
13. Sponsors, partners, creators and offers
BitcoinRun may work with sponsors, partners, creators and suppliers and may display agreed recognition, benefits, discounts or offers. Personal Founding Finisher certificates and the personal achievement itself remain separate from commercial partner status. A third-party offer may be subject to that third party's own terms. Creator/referral/discount codes may be used for attribution and agreed commissions.
14. No investment or financial-return promise
BitcoinRun is a movement/activity platform and consumer product/service project. It does not promise investment return, crypto yield, token rewards, financial appreciation or resale value. Products and serial numbers are not offered as investments.
15. Health, safety and local rules
Participants choose their own route/facility and are responsible for taking part only when appropriate for their ability and circumstances. Obey local laws, traffic rules, venue requirements and weather/safety guidance. Stop if you feel unwell or unsafe. BitcoinRun is not medical advice or a supervised athletic programme.
16. Intellectual property
BitcoinRun names, logos, artwork, website content and product designs are owned by or used with permission of Action Marketing Plus FZ-LLC and may not be commercially reproduced without permission. Participants may share their own BitcoinRun certificate/movement card and official sharing assets for personal/non-commercial participation purposes.
17. Privacy and cookies
See the Privacy Notice and Cookie & Analytics Notice. Future marketing is separate from participation and is handled according to the rules that apply in the participant’s country, with an unsubscribe option. Operational messages reasonably necessary to provide the current BitcoinRun service may still be sent.
18. Service availability and changes
BitcoinRun may make reasonable changes for safety, integrity, legal, security or operational reasons. Material changes to these Terms will be published with a revised effective date. BitcoinRun may temporarily suspend features for maintenance or security. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
19. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BitcoinRun is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from voluntary participation, third-party platforms, couriers or circumstances outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer remedies.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to a customer in another jurisdiction. Customers should first contact BitcoinRun so the issue can be resolved directly. Consumers may also use the competent consumer-protection authority available to them.
