Founding Edition terms
Effective 28 August 2026.
Challenge
Complete one activity of at least 5 km between 9 September and 31 December 2026. The distance may not be accumulated across multiple activities. Participants may run, jog or walk and may complete the challenge anywhere, subject to local laws and safe access.
Email confirmation
Registration is activated after the participant confirms control of the email address used to register. Confirmation helps reduce fake or mistyped registrations and keeps company/team participation metrics credible. BitcoinRun may treat unconfirmed registrations separately from confirmed participants in reporting.
Invitation
BitcoinRun encourages participants to invite another person to move, but referral or invitation activity is not required to earn Founding Finisher status.
Founding Finisher status
BitcoinRun may reject evidence that is incomplete, outside the Founding Edition window, implausible, duplicated or otherwise insufficient. Evidence is reviewed manually for reasonable confirmation of completion. Acceptance does not guarantee that an activity could not have been falsified. A Founding Finisher number records achievement in the Founding Edition; it is not a financial asset.
Physical products
Any Founding Edition medal, pendant or other physical collectible is optional and separate from the achievement. Products are currently in development. Final price, production specification, availability, shipping coverage, taxes and delivery timing will be shown before any paid order is accepted. Buying a physical object does not confer Founding Finisher status, a certificate or a Founding Finisher number.
No investment or token promise
BitcoinRun does not promise financial return, appreciation, token rewards, crypto yield or resale value. Founding Edition products are records or collectibles, not investment products.
Health and participation
Participants are responsible for choosing activity appropriate to their own ability and circumstances and for complying with local rules. BitcoinRun is a remote participation challenge, not a supervised medical or athletic programme.
