BitcoinRun is not an investment, trading product or token sale. The activity is physical. Participation is free. Bitcoin is the inspiration; movement is the mission.

This is how the movement starts. Run, jog or walk one activity of at least 5 km between 31 October 2026 and 3 January 2027. There is no pace requirement and participation is free.

Why these dates? Bitcoin's whitepaper was published on 31 October 2008. The Genesis Block — Bitcoin's first block — dates to 3 January 2009. The Founding Edition runs from one beginning to the next.

Send reasonable activity evidence and confirm that the activity is your own.

When accepted, receive your Founding Finisher number and digital certificate.
GET OTHERS MOVINGEncourage a friend, colleague, family member or someone in your community to move too. It is part of the mission, never a condition of your achievement.

Companies and communities can create a Founding Team and see real aggregate progress without a public leaderboard.

A wearable commemoration of an earned Edition 01 achievement. It can be ordered independently of the medal.
Your Founding Finisher number belongs to the achievement and certificate. Medal and pendant serials are separate production identifiers. Final manufacturing details are confirmed before manufacture. What is BitcoinRun?
BitcoinRun is a global physical-activity movement inspired by Bitcoin. It begins with a simple idea: move yourself and get others moving.
Do I need to own Bitcoin?
No. Bitcoin is the cultural inspiration, not a participation requirement. No Bitcoin ownership, crypto wallet or purchase is required.
Is participation free?
Yes. You do not need to buy anything to qualify as a Founding Finisher or earn the digital achievement.
Do I have to invite someone?
No. We encourage you to invite after registration and again after completion because helping others move is part of the mission. Your own qualifying activity is what earns Founding Finisher recognition.
How is completion reviewed?
You submit reasonable activity evidence and attest that it is your own. A person reviews it for reasonable signs of completion. BitcoinRun does not claim that remote digital evidence is impossible to falsify.
What about the physical collectibles?
They are optional. Accepted Founding Finishers can request them from their Founding record. The physical object commemorates the achievement; it never replaces it.
